This week’s theme is Fall All Around Us. We are learning what we see in fall, what the weather is like, what we wear to stay warm, and how the leaves fall in fall. We love the beautiful colors of the leaves, because they make awesome fall paintings. The fall wind is tricky though. The wind snuck into our classroom and blew the leaves around. We had to find them all and stick them on our classroom fall tree. We are starting to write this week using beginning letter sounds of words. We are becoming such amazing authors. Our poem of this week is:
Come little leaves said the wind one day.
Come over the meadow with me and play.
Come over the meadow with me and play.
Put on your dresses of red and gold.
Summer is gone, and the days grow cold.
As soon as the leaves heard the wind’s loud call,
Down they came tumbling one and all!
Summer is gone, and the days grow cold.
As soon as the leaves heard the wind’s loud call,
Down they came tumbling one and all!
Picking up the fall leaves with the yellow bulldozer. We went outside and saw a real bulldozer! Wow!
Playing with friends on our train!
The train conductor!

Putting her painting on our drying rack.
The tricky fall wind came into our classroom and blew the leaves around! We worked together to find the leaves and add them to our classroom fall tree.
The theme of the week is Fall All Around Us! Check out our fall collages.
Wow! We had so much fun during our fall leaf races. We blew air through our straws to make the leaves flutter.
